Helen Christine
Wennekamp, 65, went home Friday, February 1, 2008. She was born July 13, 1942 in Los Angeles,
California a daughter of Neal and Chris Dundas.
She married Chuck Wennekamp, February 4, 1961 while attending the
University of Idaho. She served as a
children's minister in Seattle and Albuquerque for 41 years. She was an artist, painter, and teacher of
her craft. Survivors include her
husband; four sons; Curt, Daniel, Wynn, Wayne and their spouses; seven
grandchildren; her mother; Chris Shepherd, Seal Beach, CA; one brother; Neal
"Bud" Dundas. She was preceded
in death by her father and seven grandchildren prenatally. Memorial services will be conducted Thursday,
February 7, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Oasis Family Church, 4800 Lomas Blvd. NE with
Pastor Terry Mathews officiating. In
lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Dry Gulch USA, 572 Dry Gulch
Rd., Adair, Oklahoma 74330.
